| it's been awhile, eh? audrie's wedding, near-job loss for karl, me having a near-stressful breakdown b/c of having 2 bosses and not enough time to do what they both expect (plus this happened the same time that we weren't sure if karl's job was going to remain), t-giving, blk friday, trip up to the cabin with karl's whole 30+ family plus our friends thane & abby, snowfalls, etc.
ive been on and updating on facebook more lately, but i shall try to keep on trying to return to here, b/c here i can still type out my current feelings/thoughts better than facebk allows (at the present).
oh, and im super excited about the third bleach movie, 'fade to black'. that's all really. ttfn

| i shall quote a green day song....
Don't want to be an American idiot.
Don't want a nation under the new mania
And can you hear the sound of hysteria?
The subliminal mind frack America.
Welcome to a new kind of tension.
All across the alien nation.
Where everything isn't meant to be okay...
Don't want to be an American idiot.
One nation controlled by the media.
Information age of hysteria.
It's calling out to idiot America.
yeah. about sums up my sentiments about our america of idiots...
i just can't wait to say 'i told you so'....

| busy busy busy!
between jodi&jeff's wedding in NJ 2 weeks ago, my sister and i's birthdays, a back to the future movie marathon at ben&becky's, and hiking at french creek last sunday (it was so gorgeous out), our weekends have been booked. not to mention my weekdays are now filled w/ my f/t, crazy job that i like doing, despite some pretty wacky things going on there this past week. (i got my first paycheck from my job this past fri - wooo).
this is the first weekend in awhile that karl and i have had nothing going on. it's wonderful. tho it's too bad that karl has had a cold since this past wednesday, poor fella - he didnt get to enjoy the beautiful 70-some degree crisp fall weather we had today. (i got to have our kitty, tiger, sit in my lap outside for an hr while i caught up w/ my ma on the cel - i love our kitty - she's so sweet! )
karl and i have been meaning to go back thru the bleach episodes from the beginning for awhile now. the past 2 weeks there was no new episode, so going thru withdraw, we started watching episode 1, and so on. we just did episode 11 tonight. gosh i love the series.
and the office is now back on! yay! im liking this season so far.

ford 'my key' sets limits on teen drivers - parents can now make it so your car can't accelerate past 80mph, and other things. interesting read.
helicopter crashes - bizarre, ironic, and so sad. could you imagine having someone survive a car wreck, get taken to the hospital by helicopter, but on the way their helicopter crashes too?! that's messed up.
what is beauty? see what you'd look like w/ beautification - a new computer program that takes your photo and changes the symmetry in your face - before & after pix of ppl they tried it out on. plastic surgeons are eating this up.
stuff white people like - a funny blog (that's also now a published book) - this entry is about why white ppl 'like' obama. hehe.

i got the job! i started this past mon, and am already super busy - teetering on insanely busy. i typed up a to-do list that i have to accomplish that was 4 pages long to give to my boss-boss today. yes. "boss-boss" is my boss above the other boss, who i guess i could call a supervisor. but they basically "share" me, so my work is doubled. my boss-boss is named Danny, and my supervisor is Stan. i like what im doing so far. and i have my very own home away from home...cubicle. but it's kinda kewl what pplz do with their cubicles there - i should take pix. so far, i find that cubicles are like a professional step up from dorms. i havent had time to even get my cubicle in any kind of order, tho a nice lady who works with me, janelle, cleaned it out for me so i could at least put my stuff in it. i still don't have a computer or anything in it - that's all on order. so im using stan's 2nd computer in his office for doing my work for him and the boss-boss. i'll go into more about my bosses and the work im doing in another entry.
also, last monday karl and i celebrated our first wedding anniversary ^_^ karl got off for mon, so we had a 3-day weekend together, which was wonderful. we went to the VF outlets on saturday and got some great bargains with some clothing we both needed, then sunday we checked into a small-town old victorian-styled hotel for an overnite stay. it was our first time staying there, and we were very impressed. and we had a jaccuzi! wootness. (i have pix of our stay there on my facebook for those of you who know me) we had a great time. monday we ate our continental breakfast (which was also impressive) out on their veranda - so nice! and then after seeing what was playing in the morning paper, on a whim we went to the movie theatre and saw burn after reading. we loved it - hilariously dark comedy. def recommend it
this past sunday we went to my bro's g/f's church, which her dad is the pastor of, for their special outdoor picnic/service, and then to watch the eagles vs. steelers game with them at the new house they just moved to (her dad just got transferred from a church in pittsburgh). her fam is for the steelers, and my fam are eagles fans. karl and i were the only ones there who didnt really care, tho i was edging more for the steelers, as i dont care for the eagles. we toured their house and saw all the renovations they've already made to the place (it is outdated a bit) - theyve done a really great job so far. since we had some time to kill before the football game, we also watched her bro, micah's, vid footage from his highschool play/musical of peter pan, in which he played capt hook. (and he was very good too) - the whole production was good, and enormous. micah said they had a budget of $60,000, which they broke even with ticket sales. goosh. karl and i stayed until the end of the 3rd quarter of the football game, then left so i could get ready for my first day of work the following day. fun day
